The purpose of this fundraiser is to assist the Guice family with funeral costs for Kevin Guice. At the young age of 27, Kevin passed away.
His Aunt Cheryl tells his story best:
"Kevin, my dear nephew passed away earlier today. He was only 27 and lived with Cerebral Palsy - but he never let that stop him from living a full life. He was a Boy Scout in his earlier years and made it all the way to an Eagle Scout. He joined his family many times for camping, vacations, cruises and they treated him just like anyone else. Even with Kevin's physical limitations, he had a love of community service...with his interest in amateur radio he became an active volunteer in "Disaster Response Programs" such as the Red Cross, CERT (Community Emergency Response Teams) and more.
Over the years, Kevin endured a lot of physical pain, many, many types of surgeries and often would spend months at a time in the hospital. He passed away this morning at UCI Medical Center from an abdominal obstruction relating to ongoing GI problems.
Kevin left his mark on earth and had a huge impact on so many people. Tonight, he is resting in peace - no longer in pain. Somehow I know his first service dog Nina is guiding Kevin along in his new journey. "
Anything you can help with will be so very meaningful. Thank you ❤️
