William Davis left us on 18 December 2025. He was taken from us far too soon by cruel illness, but his light will always shine above us. He left a message of love, care and belief. William was a special and cherished child.

As friends of his parents and sisters, we are incredibly proud of William. To come together and honour him, we are organising the Birmingham Half Marathon event in support of the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Birmingham Children’s Hospital, where William was treated.

William came from a military family—his dad a proud and highly skilled aircraft engineer. In that spirit, some participants will “TAB” the distance carrying fighting weight (16kg), while others will complete a clean run. Everyone is encouraged to take part in whatever way they can—what matters most is coming together.

After the event, we would love for everyone to gather in central Birmingham to connect, smile, and simply sit together in support of William’s family.
