Help Alyssa Morris Fight Cancer
Donation protected
My name is Dan Beck. Alyssa and I have been friends for the better part of 30 years. In August of 2023, she was diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer and metastatic lymph cancer. After several trips to Stanford over the last 14 months, and having her thyroid removed, we returned from getting scans at Stanford today with news that she has another nodule in her neck. We thought her fight with cancer was nearing an end, but unfortunately, it looks like that’s not the case. She has undergone radioactive iodine treatment, had a ton of appointments at Stanford, and has had a thyroidectomy.
The last year has been extremely difficult for her. Being unable to work, and being denied disability, the cost of travel, bills, and everyday expenses has gotten to the point that she agreed to allow me to do this on her behalf. She is doing all of this as a single mother to her daughter Dex. She has tried her best to avoid asking for help, but agreed to allow me to do this for her today on our way home when she got the news.
I understand that things are tight financially for a lot of households right now. If you’d like to donate to help her get through this next series of treatments and not continue to fall behind on everyday expenses, it is greatly appreciated. If not, a prayer or a positive thought is very much appreciated as well.
Thank you in advance!
