I’ve made the incredible decision to transition. With the strength from some of the most beautiful souls I’ve ever met, I’ve been able to overcome nearly 2 decades of uncertainty, and I feel secure in working towards actualizing this part of myself. 

With any big shift, I’ll need help from those around me. I’ve created this campaign for monetary help with the related costs for the next year. This includes medical costs, such as hormones, doctor visits,  blood tests, and insurance; feminization procedures such as electrolysis to remove facial hair; and other gender-affirming procedures and items. Many of these procedures are not covered by insurance because they are considered "cosmetic," even though they are medically necessary for transgender people. 

To be a black trans femme person is not easy. I am realizing what I can handle on my own and what I really can’t. So I ask that those with means and privilege, with love and care, to donate to my gofundme. It would afford me all the moments that make this journey feel worth it. With your help, I can really show up in the world as the realest version of myself.
