Recovery for Ruby

Ruby is a very special member of our family. After our son passed away from Asthma, she became such a comfort to us in a difficult season of grief. She now is 7 years old. She jumped off a bed yesterday and came down wrong. After being at Vets all day today, we received the horrible news. She has THREE badly broken bones in her left front paw and is in a lot of pain. She has multiple medical costs already including anesthesia, x-rays, a soft cast and more. She has to have medical care every week at Vets for 8 weeks and is going to be very expensive as many of them will include more sedation and refiiting a new cast and she may need surgery but they are doing all they can to prevent it.
