I have a special request for a family in need. There is a family with an 8-year-old boy, mom, and dad.

The dad is in very poor health. I don't know the full extent of the medical issues, but I do know he is in need of a liver transplant and is very sick. This hits very hard right now as my grandfather has had issues with his liver and my brother-in-law has cancer in his liver.

The mom lost her job while caring for her husband because his needs are high. She has since found another job and is trying to make ends meet but is needing help.

The boy asked for sausage links for Christmas and to see a Christmas tree on Christmas morning.

The family is one month behind on rent, has reached out for help from multiple churches in Morristown and was told, "We can't help because you're not a church member here." Guys, this is not how Christians are supposed to act. We need to help people when we can, members or not. Unless they get help, they will be in a homeless shelter come the first of the year. Not only is this extremely stressful for the family, as it would be for anyone in this position, but the homeless shelter keeps males, females, and children separated. This is a huge issue for the dad who needs care.

If I had the extra, I wouldn't even create this GoFundMe, but I'm asking for help to keep this family in their home and together.
