Our building was built in 1892. It is an historical building in an historical district with original stain glass windows, woodwork and brick. It was brought over from Germany and HAND built brick by brick. It is in much need of some repairs and needs updated in many areas. It will take 150,000 to make the necessary repairs with ceiling, windows, walls, restrooms and vehicles to name a few. This building is SO IMPORTANT because it is where MUCH ministry takes place on a weekly basis. The Dream Center, which is an INNER CITY MINISTRY that has church, buses in around 200 kids every week. We feed them pizza, drinks and cookies then share a message of hope faith and love. We give out back packs, provide turkey and dinner to anyone in need, we visit the homes of the children each week and see the hardships and often the neglect and abuse, we provide Christmas Wish Lists to children who only want their utility paid or a Christmas tree. We are talking inner city children here that often have nothing. We make sure each child we see has a winter coat and shoes on their feet. We provide food for the people living in one room hotels. These are to name a few. We also take the children to a nursing home to encourage the elderly once a month. As you can see, we GREATLY AFFECT our community in a variety of ways. Since we are inner city, and the funds that come in go back into the children, we do not have a surplus to make what has become critical repairs. Please consider helping us restore our building and keep the children coming. Please check out our FB Hamilton Dream Center in Hamilton, OH and website dreamcenterhamilton.org
