Help Babu Walk Again

On Halloween of this year, Babu was found on the side of Highway 166, curled up and left for dead. Our best guess is that he was either thrown from moving car or abandoned and later hit by traffic. He was malnourished and covered in wounds (both old and new).

Luckily, he was found by an employee of an animal hospital, who was able to provide him shelter, food, and pain medications while he recovered. It's been a long journey, but he has since regained his trust in humans, fallen in love with life again, and even found forever home! But his road to recovery is not over.

Babu sustained a torn cranial cruciate ligament rupture of his left knee, and needs surgery to repair it. Once this is done, he will be able to run around and play like a normal dog. Until then, he has minimal use of his left leg and is in a significant amount of pain. Please help us give this dog the second chance at life that he deserves! Funds will go towards a consult with an orthopedic surgeon, a surgery to repair the knee, and medications to keep Babu comfortable after surgery.
