Hi, this is Sookie (aka Sookie Butt). Yesterday she was very low energy (so not like her). She started vomiting and had me worried. So I took her to the emergency hospital to have her checked out. What began as vomiting quickly turned into an intestinal impaction that they tried to move with fluids, and at some point during the night, that fluid started coming out of her mouth and nose. She needed to have surgery. During the surgery, a mass was found in her intestine that was removed but could be cancerous. She is by far out of the woods but has been fighting. The doctors are trying to stabilize her labs to get her through the next 24 hours. Sadly I cannot afford the costly bill to keep her medical care going, but I want to give her the best possible chance. To say it has been a crazy 24 hours is an understatement. I greatly appreciate any help that can be given. Thank you all!
