Himalayan Climb to Support Nepalese Children
Tax deductible
This October I'll be climbing two peaks in the Himalayas (Ama Dablam and Lobuche). These peaks will be the most challenging I've ever climbed. But climbing is never just about me. Every place I go, people have unique needs and mountainous challenges. And although mountains powerfully allure me, so does the culture and the beauty of the people who make them home.
According to a recent UNICEF report, 770,000 Nepalese children ages 5-12 do not attend school due to conditions related to inaccessibility, poverty, and exploitation. Moreover, drop-out rates are also very high: 45% of children drop out of primary school. Join me while taking small, arduous, but steady steps towards the summit, providing quality educational opportunities for these precious children.
