This past year has been extremely taxing on a lot of families to say the least. Unfortunately we are one of those families, with 5 children, one having autism. We were doing ok towards the beginning but having one thing after another occur, we couldn’t keep up. Earlier in the year we were about to get a new car because the only one we have needed a couple thousand to fix and was way too small but when the pandemic happened we decided to hold off in case we needed money for bills and what not because we didn’t know what lay ahead. Sadly my husband lost his job due to the shut down. Thankfully he found another, but the time he was off set us way behind, making it hard to make ends meet. I have multiple sclerosis, so that makes things a little tougher. We were looking forward to the stimulus relief in hopes that we could get caught up on payments and be able to get the essential things that we needed, for example, getting the kids new winter coats and boots and other much needed things, but finding out that we can’t get the 2nd stimulus payment until we file our taxes has put our family in an even bigger bind. We have our backs against the wall, with more bills coming in, no car, previous debt, children to take care of and no end in sight. If you feel led to help in any way please know that we are beyond grateful and thankful.
