Keep a Roof Over This Family's Heads

Hi as most of you who know me know I’m a single mom raising my teenage boy who is on a 504 plan. We recently lost our home and are waiting to hear about transitional

housing which can take up to 8 weeks. I’m employed at a local school district as a paraprofessional. We are currently staying in a hotel locally and we take a public bus to school/work. Our current reservation expires on Sunday. Child support did not come in to continue our reservation so I can keep my job and provide a roof over our heads. I need help so I’m asking for this total because for two nights at where we are is 127.10 (tax included) then it cost $12 a day for both my son and I to ride the public bus. The remainder would for groceries which would leave us with about $72 for food. I currently have $13 to my name. If you can help my son and I would both be so grateful for your help. I hate asking for help but times are so tough that if I don’t come up with this amount I’m not sure where my son and I will be sleeping come Sunday morning. Using an older picture as my son doesn’t want his current image out there so respecting his privacy. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
