Cuba Design Trip
Donation protected
Hello everyone! My name is Jonathan Taylor and I'm currently studying motion graphics and graphic design at Otis College of Art and Design. I have recently been offered an opportunity to study abroad in Cuba and this is a great opportunity to explore other cultures, especially after it's recent revolution. Since Cuba's revolution in the 1950's, the government has encouraged art and design to ensure a rich culture within it's society. A nation so isolated from the world has become a breeding ground for creativity with an ever-changing canvas.
Americans certainly aren't allowed into this country due to the trade and embargo act and other technicalities. This opportunity is only for doctors, artists and students. I would love to attend this trip to broaden my skills as a critical thinker as well as a graphic designer and illustrator. I am asking for help with donations to make this dream a reality. Any amount is helpful, although I am making this all-or-nothing.
The goal is $3,000 which includes airfare, tuition, food, transportation, materials, fees and the hotel expenses.
For donations of $50-100, I will design anything you'd like for free.
For donations of $500, I will design anything you'd like for free + I'll make you a custom T-shirt.
