Hey there Friends.
As you may know, I bought my own home last year and its been great. A Yard for my doggie, Mya,
and its close to my new Job, where I operate a community center for Senior Citizens.
Ive never been a big one for chasing a big salary. Last year I had a budget that included saving up for emergency repairs, like this. Then I broke my back in the spring, and all the inflation and suddenly my savings were gone and my budget got a lot tighter.
A few days before Thanksgiving the Retaining wall fell over. Now I need to come up with $3000 to fix it.
I am not one to ask for help I don’t need. Ive been getting by, Im not going hungry, but I really don't know how to pay for this repair on my current income. If you know me, you know I work hard and give back as much as I can to my community, despite several chronic health conditions and limited funds. I would be grateful beyond words to get a bit of help.
I have quotes from a few local small businesses. I’d really like to be able to hire this hardworking guy I know who’s business is just starting to be successful.
If just 100 people sent $30, I could cover the costs, hire a local small business for off season landscape work and have a low stress Holiday.
I would really like to be able to get the Yule tree I’ve been dreaming about all year, instead of pinching every penny to save up until the springtime to get this repair.
If you were considering sending a gift for the Holidays, please consider giving the gift of home repairs.
Thank you for caring, even if you cannot make a donation.
