Mark Lowery Dedication

Hi All!
We (past and current Band Moms) are collecting contributions to purchase a bronze plaque and metal signage to designate Room 903 at El Camino HS as the Mark Lowery Music Room!
We are thankful for Mr. Lowery for his dedication to music education for thousands of band and orchestra students over his 22 years at El Camino and we'd love for his name to forever (and permanently) be associated with the music program he felt so strongly about!
The Oceanside Unified School District named the room for Mark in May of 2014, but we plan to officially dedicate the room on Friday, October 16th with an unveiling ceremony and reception at EC.
We're hoping to gather funds to cover these costs by August 31st.
Mark does not know about the dedication plaque and we are trying to keep this as private as we can so he will be surprised on that day!
We're anticipating our costs will be approx $3000. Any money remaining after the costs of the plaques and ceremony will be donated to the ECHS Band Boosters in Mark's name.
