It deeply saddens us to share that on March 8, 2020, our beloved Margarita was diagnosed with Stage 4 gallbladder cancer. The doctors gave her 3-6 months to live. She has taken on this terrible diagnosis with deep faith and courage and the incredible kindness and humility she is known for. She has undergone every treatment advised by her doctor, has done her rounds of chemo and radiation. In the middle of this on April 15th, 2020…she suffered a stroke that has left her bedridden.
The cancer has now spread to the rest of her body.
This week, her doctors have determined they can no longer treat her cancer and will focus instead on providing her comfort.
She is doing hospice care at home to cherish her time with her husband Hector, their son Mark Anthony and daughter Amanda. (Mark Anthony graduated from 8th grade and Amanda graduated from high school last week.)
The emotional stress along with the financial burdens can be overwhelming so we would like to ease some of their hardship.
If you feel compelled to offer a helping hand during this trying time, any donation would be greatly appreciated. We will be contributing towards the family’s growing expenses including: day- to- day, medical and other expenses that will come up.

Nos entristece profundamente compartir que el 8 de marzo de 2020, nuestra querida Margarita fue diagnosticada con cáncer de la vesícula en etapa 4. Los médicos le dieron 3 a 6 meses de vida. Ella ha asumido esto con mucha fe, coraje y la increíble amabilidad y humildad por la que ya es conocida. Se ha sometido a todos los tratamientos recomendados por su médico, ha realizado rondas de quimioterapia y radiación. En medio de esto el 15 de abril de 2020 ... sufrió un derrame cerebral que la dejó postrada en cama.
El cáncer ahora se ha extendido al resto de su cuerpo.
Esta semana, sus médicos determinaron que ya no pueden tratar su cáncer y se centrarán en brindarle comodidad.
Ella está haciendo cuidados paliativos en casa para apreciar su tiempo con su esposo Héctor, su hijo Mark Anthony y su hija Amanda. ( Mark Anthony se graduó de 8° grado y Amanda se graduó de bachiller la semana pasada )
El estrés emocional junto con las cargas financieras puede ser abrumador, por lo que nos gustaría aliviar algunas de sus dificultades.
Si se sienten conmovidos a ofrecer una oración o quieren ofrecer una donación, se los agradecemos mucho. Estaremos contribuyendo a los crecientes gastos de la familia, incluyendo: día a día, gastos médicos y otros gastos que vengan.
