Dan’s Road to Recovery

Hello family and friends. May name is Alexis Hernandez. I’m Daniel Hernandez’s niece. As many of you are aware by now, Daniel underwent emergency open heart surgery on December 17th. This was a very involved and complicated quadruple bypass procedure. We are very grateful and thankful that he successfully made it through surgery and is now in ICU awaiting next steps from surgical and medical staff. He will remain in the hospital for at least another week.

However, even when back home, his road to recovery will be quite lengthy. It will involve months of therapy, home nursing and special care. These are all very extreme medical expenses.

For all that know Dan, he’s a very proud guy with a huge heart that has helped many people in the past. We’ve created a GoFundMe page to help collect as much support possible to help him get through these difficult times and get him back on his feet. We appreciate your help in advance.
