Let's Help Karen Focus on Recovery
Donation protected
Hi Everyone!
By now most of you have learned, like me, that Karen had a stroke and is brilliantly working through her recovery. She has been incredibly positive, hopeful, and determined. She has had the help of her family who has been amazing! They have been by her side every day and spent countless hours setting up her home anticipating her return scheduled on 3/16.
I set up this fund because while Karen has a great support system in her family, recovery can be expensive. There are so many things to buy to aid her in her day-to- day life, in addition to needing simple things that most of us generally take for granted, like getting her kids to and from school or practices when those in her network are busy. She will likely need to order meals in more often for her kids as she becomes tired during PT or finds meals more expensive as she experiements with different foods lower in sodium that may ultimately cost more money that her budget allows.
How can you help?
Donate to this Go Fund Me account. The funds you donate will allow her to buy the things she needs to get her life set up as well as provide funds she'll need to simply call an Uber or Lyft to take her kids places, run to the grocery store, even simply go so Starbucks with a book to be a part of life.
Every dollar helps. I know I'm in.... Now it's your turn!
