We are raising money to support a teenage immigrant who has endured far too many hardships this year.

Her parents, Indigenous Ecuadorians with no criminal records, were forcefully deported by ICE in January. To protect the 8 siblings left behind, the oldest child moved them all into a safe house - 8 children, 6 of them under 16 years old, including a 5mo old baby.

The teenage girl, Maria (name changed to protect her identity) has been caring for her youngest siblings and trying to balance school and other teenage activities, all while navigating life without her parents present. A few weeks ago, she was brutally attacked by an adult man.

We are raising money to support her physical and emotional needs, as well as legal support. Proceeds from this GoFundMe will be used to pay for an immigration lawyer, her medical and dental bills, and therapy appointments.
