Amanda’s Medical Fund

Hello everyone,

My name is Kristina and I am starting this Go Fund Me for one of my dearest friends, Amanda McClanahan.

For months now she has been having quite a bit of medical issues that she has been keeping a secret from all of her friends and family. If you know Amanda she is a very strong, independent, and good hearted person that would LITERALLY do anything for anyone.

Now it’s time for us to all get together and to help out this amazing and beautiful person who we all adore and love.

For months now, Amanda has been dealing with very high blood pressure, severe headaches, and vertigo. She has been to the doctors several times and has been misdiagnosed.

On Tuesday April 23, 2024, Amanda ended up having a hemorrhage in one of her eyes. She went to her PCP then they recommended an eye doctor which then lead her going to the ER. While at the ER, they scanned her head and ended up finding a 5cm tumor on her brain. She was then rushed by ambulance to Little Rock where she now is waiting to have brain surgery to remove the tumor.

Amanda has a very long road to recovery and will not be able to work for a long while therefore the medical bills will be piling up.

As her family, her friends, her coworkers, and the community, we are asking to please help out in any way shape or form for this sweet and loving person.

UPDATE: As of Sunday April 28, 2024, the doctors ended up putting in stents in Amanda’s head to help relieve some of the pressure and she is also on steroids to help shrink the size of the tumor. But also they performed another scan on her head and they ended up finding 3 more tumors on her brain.
