Many of you have heard about the fires in Malibu. Yesterday my nephew Stephen Sullivan, who attends Pepperdine Univ. & lives off campus in Malibu was woken up by his neighbor who saw flames at the end of the road and told him to get out fast! Thankfully Stephen did!

But Stephen had little time to pack. Today he got news that the home he was living in (26145 Idlewild Way,, Malibu, Ca) was completely burned to the ground.  Another resident asked a policeman to drive into the secured area to see if the house was still standing. It was not. I have attached the before and after photos of the home. 

Stephen has lost all of his possessions (except a few bags he threw in the car mostly of college books) and he now has to start over from scratch.  He has lost most of his clothes, books, electronics, etc. I am attaching pictures of his room BEFORE the incident to give you an idea of the extent of his loss. Any help he can get to put him back on his feet again is greatly appreciated!

And if anyone has housing suggestions so he can finish the semester please email or call me separately. There is just so much unknown right now.
