With a very heavy heart, my beautiful nephew Jayvin Anthony Hill, passed away on the morning of February 27th. He was born a healthy beautiful baby, but came across a deadly virus which made him extremely ill, causing his major organs to shut down. Jayvin first went home on Monday the 22nd, but soon after being home, mom and dad realized he was not breathing right and brought him back to St. Vincent's hospital and was immediately admitted to the NICU. Upon further examination, it was determined that his condition was very serious and he would need to be transported to Children's Hospital in Milwaukee. Jayvin fought hard to stay with his family, and the doctors worked endlessly to save his life, but unfortunately he could only take so much.
His mother Amanda has been very ill before and after delivery, and has had extended stays at both St. Vincent's Hospital and Froedtert Hospital. After a long delivery, and an emergency C-section, it looked like Amanda was starting to heal. However, two days after delivery, Amanda was rapid responsed to the ICU at St. Vincent's. Her condition stumped all of the doctors and they could not figure out what was going on with her. She was released from the ICU, and eventually was discharged to go home on Monday the 22nd. While down at Children's hospital, her condition worsened. She was admitted to Froedtert's Hospital and remains there today. Not only is she dealing with the death of her baby boy but she is also grieving for the fact she was not able to spend as much time with him as she would have liked. We are hoping she will be released from the hospital soon.
With all of that said, all money raised will go to Amanda and BJ to help pay for medical bills, funeral costs, and other bills that are piling up due to not being able to work. Any amount that you are willing to give will be greatly appreciated. Words can not even begin to explain how much Jayvin will be missed. Jayvin, though you were with us for such a short time, you have touched so many people in so many ways.
Jayvin Anthony Hill born February 17th and sent to be with the lord on February 27th. You will always be loved. Bj, Amanda, Jayla, and the rest of our family are endlessly thankful for all of the prayers and kind words we have received.
