Mrs. Dickson needs our help

This fundraiser is to help Mrs. Teresa Dickson receive some help with bills and expenses. Due to health-related issues, she has not been able to work since several months ago. She is not receiving any income and is between the hospital and the rehabilitation center.

Mrs. Dickson has been a classroom teacher since 1997, and for the last 17 years, she has been educating our children at Dr. Edward L Whigham Elementary. This year has been surprising. Her health began declining, and after her 2nd surgery, she had several complications that made her run out of sick days and she finally had to file for retirement.

There is a big chance that you were one of her students, and we humbly ask for financial help. Any amount will help Mrs. Dickson get by until she starts receiving her retirement pension, which is taking longer than expected. This is why we ask Cutler Bay residents for support for a teacher that might have been yours, your kid's or someone you know.
