On July 12, 2020 my sister, Danielle Ellison, was admitted into the hospital in Florence, Alabama for complications stemming from having Covid-19.  She was 33 weeks pregnant.  On Tuesday, July 14th, the doctors in Florence made the determination that she needed more specialized care for both she and the baby.  She was transferred to TriStar Centennial in Nashville, TN on Wednesday, July 15th.  The doctors at TriStar decided to go ahead and perform a c-section so that they could treat Danielle's worsening condition.  Charlie was born July 15th and although he is doing really well, it is anticipated that he will be in the NICU for an extended period of time.  Danielle is currently in the ICU, again with the anticipation that she will be there for an extended period of time, possibly a month or longer.  Her husband, Nate, and I are here in Nashville until their conditions improve and they are discharged.  All donations received through GoFundMe will go directly towards helping to offset the unanticipated travel expenses we are incurring while being in Nashville as the medical bills that will be forthcoming.  We truly appreciate any and all support you are able to provide.  Thank you from the bottom our our hearts.
