Amy's recovery

In October I was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer. I was lucky that it was caught early and small, and after my surgery it was determined that there is little to no chance it spread anywhere else in my body. There were minor complications from the surgery that seem to be resolving and starting in January I will be doing a four-week round of daily radiation treatments.

I am fortunate that my health insurance should cover the majority of the expense so I will have little to no medical debt. However, the daily to weekly doctor appointments and the planning for radiation therapy have forced me to greatly reduce my hours at work. Because both my jobs are in local schools, this unfortunately coincides with the normal reduction in my hours due to school closures during Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks.

I am scrambling to cover my monthly expenses, which is why I am reluctantly asking for help here. My goal is to raise enough to cover my rent and car payment for January and February, after which I should be back in action and able to work full time. If you are able to pitch in anything for this temporary set-back I am going through, I appreciate it beyond words.
