Javier & Lupe’s Creek Fire Relief
Donation protected
I pulled this picture from the LA Daily News. Behind the man there’s a home on fire that burned in the recent Creek Fire in Sylmar, CA. It’s not salvageable. The home belonged to Javier and Lupe Hernandez, my brother and sister-in-law, along with my goddaughter, Monica Hernandez. They are now technically without a home and have lost everything. The damages are over $130k, but the insurance will only currently cover a fraction of it. They are in need of money to temporarily find a home and replace their most needed necessities like clothes and beddings.
A devastating time for the Hernandez family. I ask that you please help out and give what you can. They are still in shock and any help would be greatly appreciated. #creekfire.
Here’s recent interview and article of them:
