What started out to be a normal day took a tragic turn. The storm roared through Birmingham. Lightning uprooted a tree and landed in their home.

This storm claimed the life of LaToya's 3-month-old granddaughter. Even though the family was grieving the loss of their beloved baby, the family poured its resources and prayers into LaToya.

LaToya had to have surgery the very next day. After two (2) weeks of pain and discomfort LaToya was moved to a rehab facility where she will begin her long road to recovery!

This family has to get through this storm that has torn through their life.
