Still Fighting The Battle...

I am Wensdae Walker. Many of you know me. I’m a single mom of 3 children; Collin (16), Conner (11), and Chloe (9) and a school teacher to many. I was diagnosed with cervical cancer about 5 years ago. It was fixed with a little chemo and a lot of radiation. The cancer then found a new home in my lymph nodes. It was fixed with A LOT of chemo. Today I sit here with bone cancer and an oncologist that said nothing else could be done except manage the pain. Let’s say I got smart and changed oncologists and began an adventure at MD Anderson. Today I have started my clinical trial today (Wednesday, December 6) thanks to the help of my family, many friends and strangers previous donations!! The funds have ran out. Trust me when I say I have spent every dime on the past 3 trips here. I’m requesting and praying for help from my angels again. I have to return to Houston next week December 12-13, December 20-22, December 26-27, January 2-3 and January 15-18 for follow up treatments. I will get schedule of other upcoming appointments if the treatments show progress is being made. I’m embarrassed that I am having to reach out again for financial help for me and my family during this time. I have registered with AngelFlight, however flights are not guaranteed. The wonderful social workers are doing all they can to help as well. I’m having to pay all expenses out of pocket at this time. This current trip cost $2,400 out of pocket which that was my entire check (thank goodness it was payday). Please help anyway you can anything will be greatly appreciated. Also, if you know any travel tips to help PLEASE share them with me!! I need rooms close to MD Anderson (with a shuttle service or so that Uber fares will be cheap.
