4th on 53rd Parade and Picnic

This 28 year tradition brings out Hyde Parkers like no other event. Parade attendees are dazzled as elected officials and local Hyde Park leaders, in 4th of July colors, marching bands, neighborhood clubs, organizations and children’s groups march pass. Fire trucks and police cars with lights flashing and sirens blaring lead the way. Floats filled with waving riders and music add to the pageantry while cowboys on horseback bring up the rear.

We need your support. The 4th on 53rd is organized by members of the Hyde Park community. Your contribution will be used for parade and picnic decorations, floats, music, performers in the park during the afternoon and the 10 week Concert Series. Contributions form everyday Hyde Parkers will help us stage the best 4th of July celebration yet.
