I'm back. I have internally debated this post for at least two months now.

My lessons in humility keep coming. I made it through Covid, through my broken arm, through surgery and recovery, with help from all of you.

Now I'm on my knees, trying to get up. I am having some really worrisome health issues, robbing me of my balance, my vitality, my sense of hope, and my dental health. I'm just not going to make it without some major changes in my situation.

If I can somehow find answers, I will do everything I can to lift myself up and go back to doing what I love. But right now, I am basically homebound. Thankfully, my son is now driving, and is able to take over a few of his personal bills, while working and going to school full time.

I am investigating all avenues of possibilities to explain my health issues. So far, while the docs seem to see that I'm ill with some sort of inflammatory disease, they can't seem to figure out why, nor how best to help me. I will keep exploring traditional medicine as well as some alternative options. I have yet another physician appointment today.

I cannot work beyond a few, very easy gigs. I am writing my memoir, and working on some new songs, but I am not physically capable of doing many full gigs or touring right now.

This disease has also deeply affected my dental health and I
need major reconstruction work not covered by insurance. I am in the process of applying for some grants. In addition, I am having extreme difficulty eating, due to an ongoing esophageal problem that is likely associated with the inflammatory illness. I will be getting a surgical procedure next week to try and improve that.

If I can regain my vitality, I will take whatever work I can get and will catch up as soon as possible. If I can't, I'm going to investigate other avenues, particularly subsidized housing and bankruptcy.

I am setting up a new gofundme. I am still supporting myself and my son. And two beautifully loving, red boy cats. If you can help, I will be forever grateful. I will also do a livestream concert as soon as I am able. In addition, I still want to start my YouTube series.

If you prefer, I can gather some coins at Venmo @dianne-davidson-2. It's actually preferable due to associated fees.

I know some of you may feel critical of me and my "bad" decisions. I understand. But you can't be harder on me than I am on myself.

Every little bit helps. I mean it. I sincerely hope I can be back at work, soon.

Bless you.
