Jason get better!

Donation protected
Hi! My name is Steph and I'm fundraising for a friend who is having some serious medical issues. He is a very rare case of something (the Drs can't find anything yet) and without a diagnosis, disability isn't an option for him. He has a long

road ahead with recovery and his doctors agree that he should not go back to work yet. There's something neurological that is causing seizure-like conditions. He is going to need help to cover his basic utilities and rent so he doesn't lose everything he has worked so hard for.

On Christmas morning, Jason woke up and started his morning routine which includes a good stretch and a workout. He was using a resistant band for the first time. he immediately started feeling like something was wrong. His heart rate went up and he became very shaky and weak. He went to the hospital, they gave him fluids and sent him home. On December 27th, he went to work and was visibly ill. He went back to the hospital and again, they said they couldn't find what's wrong with him. At this point, he was unable to speak, he had paralysis on his left side and tremors on his right side. unable to walk. They discharged him that day and landed back in the hospital again on the 28th of December and kept him for testing and observing his symptoms. Unfortunately, the doctors where we live cant find out what medically is going on. He has specialists that are trying to help. These doctors are 8 hours away. He has appointments set up for more extensive testing.
Jason is a very motivated man. He has ambition and goals. He's full of life and adventure. To see someone so full of life to be bedridden is difficult to see, but imagine it from HIS perspective and how hard it is going day to day not knowing how he's going to pay rent. His mind, body and soul should be in complete recovery mode to get healthier.
Jason does have a job, as a cook. Anyone who has worked in kitchens understands the demanding pressure of consistently moving fast. This results in an attack or hospitalization. These symptoms started in December 2022 and have been in the hospital on 4 separate occasions spending weeks there, with no idea on what's causing these episodes.

The donations I am asking for will help secure his home. These donations will also help with getting him to and from his doctors for his testing. I want to thank everyone in advance for anything they can help with. Please help spread the word! Let's get him back on his feet and back to life.
