Eight years ago when I first met him, louey and his litter mates were in a cardboard box outside of of Walmart on a hot summer day. We had spoken to a woman with a very young puppy and she told us that a box of them were being sold outside in the heat and without water. My mom immediately decided to buy all of them and take them to the humane society, but lou was the only one left. He was half dead by the time we got to him and we nursed him back to health. It took no time at all for him to become an irreplaceable member of our family, and I want him to remain with us.
On Wednesday morning my mom when my mom came to make sure I was awake to go spend time with my sister at my grandparents for the Thanksgiving holiday she was greated by our "little dancing bear" at least that's what my mom calls him, she was shocked to the side of his face lookibg very swollen. She asked me a few questions a deciding it was an extremely sudden onset swelling we contacted multiple veterinary offices in Wenatchee valley.
Throughout the day the swelling did get worse.
At the vet we were told the he needed immediate antibiotics, and that he was in sever pain, if he does not receive emergency dental treatment thats estimated at a coat of 2500.00$ we might miss out on another great 8 years with Louey.
Im asking for help because my family cannot afford the treatment. My family, myself and Louey are all extremely greatful of any help you can give in helping keep my dog alive.
Thank you in advance.
