EMERGENCY SURGERY FOR KODA

Hello everyone,

We are Koda’s parents and we’ve made this gofundme because we are in urgent need of your help.

Koda is a 6 month old Blue-Nose American Bully. We’ve had Koda since he was 3 months old, and im those 3 months he has become the center of our attention since the moment we got him.

Unfortunately, as of Sunday May 12th, Koda began having episodes of vomiting and diarrhea. On our last visit to the vet (Saturday May 18), we decided to do x-rays as it was the only diagnostic left, seeing as prescribed medicine did not seem to help, as well as a blood test that came back completely normal. According to the vet, the x-rays give them suspicion that he may have a small partial obstruction in his small intestine, and he will need surgery to remove the object from his intestine.

Now if you have pets, you know vet bills are not cheap. This past week alone we’ve spent approximately $2.3k in vet visits trying to figure out what is wrong with our poor baby. On top of all the stress in not knowing whats wrong with our dog, the vet tells us that she thinks the dog is going to need surgery, and that it can cost anywhere from $5k-$10k!!!!!!!

Unfortunately, as much as we love our beautiful dog, we are in no position to spend that kind of money with our current financial situation, and we are afraid that we might have to take drastic measures, such as surrendering him to get him the help he needs or even worse, his symptoms worsen and he doesn't survive.

We are in a very tough position right now, as the last thing we want to do is ask people for money but we cant stand see our dog slowly die without trying our best to help him overcome this unfortunate situation. He is the cutest, sweetest, most lovable little dog and it breaks our heart seeing him suffer. Please help us save our baby’s life.
