Hi my name is Archie, I have been selected to represent the UK Scout contingent as part of Unit 65 (West Mercia Scouts) at the 26th World Scout Jamboree in Gdańsk Poland. I have been a member of the 20th Walsall Scout group for over 10 years having been a Beaver, Cub, Scout and now an Explorer Scout. Attending the World Scout Jamboree is a once in a lifetime opportunity to meet over 40,000 other Scouts from across the world and take part in cultural exchanges, activities and learn new skills for life. As part of the Jamboree participants need to personally fundraise £3000 each to cover travel, participation and food. I will be doing various fundraising activities both individually and with Unit 65. Any contributions big or small would be greatly appreciated and will help get me one step closer to Poland 2027.
