to whom it may concern,

as some of you may know, my father Manuel Hernandez has been struggling with his health for awhile now. My dad is the hardest working man I know and to see his health progressively get worse breaks not only my heart but the hearts of those that care for him more than anyone can imagine. He’s the family guy. He has worked his whole life and now due to his poor health conditions his kidneys are failing. He is on a transplant list but it could take years before he receives a donor. He is set to begin dialysis in a few weeks. Meaning 3x out of the week for 4 hours he will have to undergo this treatment. After he begins, the doctors are saying he should be able to qualify by then for disability but again it is just a matter of waiting. He has tried to apply before but was denied because he was not “sick enough”. He was the main source of income in the family and unfortunately now he can no longer work. The Hernandez family is asking for any kind of donation big or small to help cover some of the cost of his treatments as insurance will not cover it all. He is the most selfless man and would never ask for help unless he truly needed it but until his disability goes through, there is no income. Again, even if you do not donate, a post or share is just as appreciated because it’ll help get the message out. Anyone who knows my father knows his heart and knows that he deserves to finally relax and no longer suffer in the ways that he has been. From the bottom of mine and my family’s heart we thank you and ask for prayers as we transition my father into this new , hopefully more comfortable lifestyle. Thank you!
