On Thursday, July 10th, Shawn went out fishing with his sons and their wives. He was found in the river today, July 13th, and now we must mourn the loss of someone that none of us can begin to imagine a life without. This was such a freak accident that has traumatized and scarred our family. He was truly so selfless, loving, caring, sometimes funny hahahaha, and if you knew Shawn, you were blessed to know the light he brought to this world.

This has all happened so suddenly and we just never could have imagined losing him. Because of this tragedy, and how unexpected it was, I’m asking for help to create the celebration of life that Shawn deserves. A celebration like no other.

Our hearts are shattered. But Leah… the love of her life, her partner for over 20 years, has been torn from her. These funds will also help take the financial burden off Leah’s shoulders during these hard times.
