Our sweet four-year-old cat, Draco, recently gave us quite a scare. We first noticed he wasn’t acting like himself — growling, biting, and hiding when we tried to pet him, which was completely unlike our usually cuddly lover boy. After rushing him to the emergency vet, we learned he had a blocked urethra and crystallized urine, a painful and potentially life-threatening condition.
Draco spent 48 hours in the ER before finally being able to come home. We monitored him closely for over a week and a half, hoping he was in the clear — but heartbreakingly, the blockage came back. We found ourselves back at the ER, where he had to stay another 36 hours for treatment and monitoring.
We are so thankful that Draco is home again and recovering, but the back-to-back emergency visits and vet bills have been overwhelming. Between his medical care and our upcoming wedding, we’re feeling the financial strain and could really use some help to ease the burden.
Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward Draco’s medical bills, medications, and follow-up care to keep him healthy and pain-free.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for reading, sharing, and supporting our little family — it truly means the world to us (and to Draco, who’s finally back to purring and cuddling again).
