Help Victor walk again
Victor has the chance to walk again, but he can't do it without your help.
Victor is a puppy of around 5 months old, who was unfortunately abused in the city of Tabuk in Saudi Arabia. Because of the abuse he suffered, Victor sustained significant injuries including damage to his sciatic nerve and is now unable to walk properly.
Unfortunately there is a pattern of animal abuse globally and while there are many good people helping animals in Saudi Arabia, abuse still occurs. The full details of Victor's abuse are not fully known but we do know he was hit and starved for several days. Fortunately, a Tabuk Paws volunteer found out and rescued Victor.
Victor is now in safe hands in Saudi Arabia and his injuries are in the process of being assessed. He is still continent thankfully but one of his legs is very rigid, likely from the damage to his sciatic nerve.
Victor's x-rays have revealed extensive damage to the ligament structures as well as problems with his knee joints and some vertebrae. However, more specialist scans are needed which cannot be performed in Saudi Arabia and he may also need complex orthopaedic surgery in the future.
Despite his injuries and the poor state he was found in, little Victor is such a sweet and loving puppy, desperate to run around and play with all the other dogs in his foster home. Unfortunately, whilst there have been advances in animal welfare in Saudi Arabia in recent years, there simply aren't the specialist techniques and services, canine physiotherapy and hydrotherapy that Victor is in need of if he is to have any hope of walking again.
Without this specialist medical care Victor's quality of life will be severely compromised. He needs your help to get him to the UK, where Miracle's Mission, a specialist animal rescue organisation have committed to giving him the care he so desperately needs to help him walk again.
Victor is currently in the process of following the rabies titre test procedure, which he needs to pass in order to travel to the UK but even once he passes he can't leave Saudi unless we raise the money to cover his flight and transportation costs.
With your help we will be able to fly Victor to the UK so that he can start a new life and have the chance to walk again.

Should transportation end up costing less than the estimate, leftover funds will be donated to the life-saving rescue work of Tabuk Paws, who rescued Victor and who have many other animals in desperate need of help.
