Randy and Tammy Skinner and her their family have been inner-city missionaries for over 20 years. They sold everything they had to bless others and go into ministry to be the hands and feet of Christ. Nothing has been easy, but the Lord has really used them in a unique way to bring those who are lost back to Jesus and family.
Tammy has always had a heart for others and would always put her needs aside and help others first. She has been a mother to the motherless and a spiritual mentor to women. She has given her life and now it is time to give back and help her through this journey.
In March of 2020, Tammy and her family got news that she has stage three aggressive inflammatory breast cancer. This was devastating to hear and there was lots of confusion to why such an amazing woman who has given her life for others was now battling to fight for her life in her 40s.
Through the grief, confusion, and sadness they have truly pulled together as a family and know God will provide and heal their family. Jesus has never failed to provide and be there for them and he is more present now than ever. They are blessed to have such an amazing community surrounding them and Tammy with prayer, companionship, laughter, and joy.
Through each treatment, they have only seen her get stronger and stronger. Her joy is brighter than ever and she is what keeps our family going. We all truly believe God is working miracles in her and her family, even if its not the way we imagined or hoped for now, we know his plans are always better.
Tammy will be undergoing a series of intense chemo treatments and possible surgery. Being inner-city missionaries and a daughter in college, it has been financially hard to get the available treatment for Tammy. Any amount helps and we are so grateful for all your donations! This amount is for the first round of treatment!
We will fight this!
Other ways of helping out is definitely prayer, cards, flowers to cheer her day and to let her know how loved she is!
