Nuriya needs a hip replacement since she has had a dislocated hip since an accident that occurred when she was 3 yrs old. But they don’t have health insurance and her parents don’t make enough to pay for this complex surgery. Dr. Smith and I met her when she was an exchange student in Visalia when her brought her to me to figure out why she had such a pronounced limp. The xray showed the problem, but at that time she had no pain, so nothing was done. Well since then walking to/from her university her pain has gotten unbearable.
