Hello I'm Kim...Katie's little sister. As some of you know Katie's not had the easiest few years. Back in 2017 she was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent treatments and operations to get rid of it. Only a year later there was another lump that she then had removed. December 2023 she got the devastating news it was back and had spread to her head and some organs leaving her with stage 4 cancer. As a family this was just heartbreaking but even more so for her. Katie lives her whole life for her 4 children, Joseph, Oliver, Ava and Ella, and her husband Darren. She always goes above and beyond, being a mum is without doubt her biggest achievement in life! She still gets up everyday, goes to work to provide for her family and just inspires us all. Jacob, my partner (soon to be husband) has always wanted to challenge himself physically and mentally. So he will be running 5k every hour for 12 hours on Saturday 19th of july, this event will be held at BAfitness, morecambe. Our brother Ryan is also going to be joining him. We want to raise as much money as we possibly can to send my beautiful big sister Katie and her family away and make the best memories ❤️ she deserves it more than anyone!
