Please help Linda with her medical expenses
Donation protected
Hello, I am starting a GoFundMe for the strongest person I have ever met. Linda Zawistowski is a retired detective of the Bergen County Sheriff's Department, and until recently, she has been a Garfield Public School Security Guard for 8 years. She has recently suffered a life-altering medical condition. On November 14, She was rushed to the ER, unable to breathe. Her blood oxygen levels were critical. Treated with oxygen, steroids, and nebulizer treatments for 9 days on the Pulmonary floor. She was released on the evening of Nov 28 with a portable oxygen unit and one for her home. She is still on oxygen and will undergo physical therapy in her home to build her endurance.
Being an alumnus of GHS, I've seen firsthand how Linda would go above and beyond for us as students and love us like we are her own. Linda always managed to keep a smile on your face and make your day better than it started. After graduating from GHS, Linda continues to look out for me and many other fellow graduates. Linda is an example of what you can be and that you can do anything if you believe in yourself. She is and was loved by the lives she changed, and we are praying for her recovery.
Linda works per diem as a Security Guard at Garfield High School and is currently unpaid since she can't work and will have no income to pay her bills. A single mother who worked tirelessly to raise her daughter, Linda Zawistowski, cannot meet her medical and monthly expenses. Any donation you can make would be greatly appreciated.
I want to add a quote that Linda lives by “fall down 7 times, get up 8.”
