In Loving Memory of Patrick Roberts
On behalf of our family and community, we are deeply saddened to share the passing of Patrick Roberts — a beloved husband, father, friend, teammate, and all-round incredible human being. His loss has left a hole in our hearts that can never be filled.
Patrick was the kind of person who lit up every room he walked into. He loved to laugh, loved to have a good time, and loved the people around him with his whole heart.
Anyone who knew him knew how much joy he found in the simple things — music turned up loud (skipping each song before it could actually finish), a night with mates, and especially the beautiful game of soccer.
Patrick wasn’t just a talented soccer player; he was an amazing one. His passion for the sport ran deep. He proudly supported Liverpool FC and poured his heart into every match he played with Bunbury United Soccer Club. His teammates weren’t just teammates — they were family. The pitch was his happy place, and his love for the game was infectious.
But nothing in Patrick’s life meant more to him than his own family. His greatest joy was the love he shared with his wife, Chelsea, and their two beautiful children, Jax and Charlee. He was endlessly proud of his kids—their achievements, their personalities, the little moments that made him smile every single day. And the love and adoration he had for Chelsea was something truly rare and timeless, a bond that will transcend lifetimes.
Patrick lived big, loved big, and laughed big. And while he should still be here making memories with all of us, we are now left holding the ones he gave so generously in his time with us.
We have created this GoFundMe to support Chelsea, Jax, and Charlee in the difficult road ahead. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help ease some of the financial pressures during this heartbreaking time and allow the family space to grieve, heal, and navigate life without their beloved Patrick.
Thank you for keeping Patrick’s memory alive and for supporting the people he loved most.
With gratitude,
