This February, we became one of the four robotics teams from the Bay Area to qualify for the FIRST Tech Challenge World Championship, the largest robotics competition with over 83,600 students from 32 countries.
For the past 6 years, the 15 of us have been dedicated to robotics, self-teaching the computer-aided-design and autonomous programs necessary to produce a successful robot.
After seasons of endless prototyping, practicing, and refining, we were finally able to win our regional tournament and secure our spot at Worlds—a dream come true for us.
As the first robotics team from Santa Clara High to qualify for Worlds, we hope to proudly represent our local school and community on the global stage. We are working hard to take our robot to the next level, and any support is greatly appreciated.
