On March 3, Leslie went into the hospital for an abscessed on her ovary. She was hospitalized until March 17 and ended up septic with E. coli and strep inside her body. They took her into surgery to input a drain, and she had it until she was discharged. She came home with a PICC line and had that for 10 days. She was home for a week and got hospitalized again, where they removed her colon and part of her intestines. She had 38 lymph nodes, and three were stage three cancerous. She got to come home yesterday with an ostomy bag, and she will be starting chemo soon.
