Hello my name is Winston I was born and raised in Port more St, Catherine Jamaica. Growing up in Jamaica every summer my parents would send me to Trelawny to spend time with my grandparents. I hated going their, getting up at 5am to pad the donkey so my grandparents could go to the farm to get food to sell in the market. As an adult I appreciate the hard work ethic they instilled in me. My grandfather past way a few years back ( God rest his soul) and the family step in to help my grand mother. Now my grandmother is 92 years young and still living in the house my grandfather build. Hurricane Mellissa destroyed the house. While I know help is on the way, time is not necessarily on my grandmother side. The electricity is out and no running water, I am trying to do my part by raising money to ensure that the last memory my grandmother has is not her home being broken.
