Juju had a multiple Brainstem Stroke on April 16, 2021, at the age of 19 Years Old. He was extremely healthy, never smoked, never drank a day in his life, nor ate many sweets. Survived a 5% chance of surgery. He was in a coma for 2 weeks, then went into Locked In Syndrome for 3 months, and was 100% declared PARALYZED. Every blink and every small movement he'd make was all "INVOLUNTARY." No doctor couldn't tell why he had the strokes; it was declared a freak accident. All doctors signed off on his case and called it quits 1 day after surgery, all saying, "He's never going to wake up, he's never going go walk, and he's never going to talk. The chance of him recovering after the surgery is 3%, This isn't what he wanted" and much worse every day for weeks on end. Day by day, juju grew stronger, and we never lost hope. Stubborn in the best way possible, the De La Fuente Family. This is dedicated to Juju and his recovery.

Juju now in 2022!

Juju is still learning how to walk, he also feels 90% of his right side as well, which is a huge improvement. He is 100% dedicated to getting better and back to where he left off. He doesn't have any doctors to help him with therapy due to all of them signing off on his case back in April because no one thought he would pull through. Here is Dad and Uncle Paul helping him learn how to walk, and get his life back. Mom, Dad, Uncles and Siblings have been by his side since Day 1 and helping him through his needs.

Dad hasn't worked ever since Juju had his Strokes back in April 2021, Closed his company to dedicate 100% of his life in helping Juju get better every day with therapy. Juju needs 24 hr care since he is still on the PEG Tube and unable to walk and walk around on his own in which is why Dad quit his job.
