Hi, my name is Elsa and I was recently diagnosed with colon cancer. I am currently hospitalized as I had surgery to remove a tumor in my large intestine and unfortunately my spleen had to also be removed. a

A couple days ago I had a set back, I caught a fever and had liquid building up on my abdomen. A CT scan showed that I had an abscess and had to have surgery to have a catheter installed to drain the liquids. Currently I am unable to work and do not know when I will be able to go back home and fully recuperate to be able to go back to work. I will need treatments to boost my immune system and cannot imagine the hospital bills that will start piling up.
