House fire lost everything

My name is Jacob Brittain, I am a 27 year old Lincoln Tech student and four days ago, on Valentines Day, my family and I lost everything we own in the blink of an eye. I was at work when my neighbor called me and told me that my our home was on fire. In August of 2023, my mother was incarcerated, and although I had moved out of our childhood home at that point, I moved back into my grandparents home where I grew up and stepped in to take care of my sisters, Jade and Johanna, hoping to help them get through school this year. I couldn’t leave them behind. I am young and was still getting my life together myself when everything fell into my lap including my mom’s debts and outstanding bills and mortgage. It’s just the three of us now. I also learned on the day of the fire that my mother had failed to pay the home insurance and the house was uninsured. 5 of our family pets passed away in or shortly after the fire. Three of our pets are fighting hard in the ICU at the emergency clinic in Murfreesboro and suffered from smoke inhalation, burns to their eyes, and carbon monoxide poisoning.

This has obviously been an incredible loss and I’m trying my best to pick up the pieces a keep what little family I have left, including our two dogs and cat, together. I go to school at Lincoln Tech at night and work 10 hour days at my job. I’m doing everything I can to provide for my family and help to get us through this tragedy. It is hard for me to ask for help but I don’t know where else to turn or what to do as we have nowhere to go and don’t even have the most basic supplies like underwear or basic hygiene items.
