Our parents, Ed and Joan Lawrence lost their home, a beloved dog, 2 birds and just about everything else last night in a devastating home fire. They spent their whole lives in Glendale raising their daughters and moved to Sound Beach 3 years ago. Our dad started his own Kitchen Equipment repair business since moving and unfortunately injured his shoulder just over a month ago and had to have surgery which he is still recovering from. They are starting over with just the clothes on their backs. They were fortunate to get out unharmed and were able to save 4 other dogs, a couple of fish and a turtle.
